Welcome to The Davis! A thoughtfully restored 1942 Mid-Century Modern Beach Bungalow in the heart of the Coastal Lowcountry’s St. Simons Island, Georgia. Family friendly and spacious, it’s conveniently found in the historic mid-south neighborhood of Oglethorpe Park, this home was originally built as a WWII military home, later transitioning to serve as the military community’s daycare, and later yet it was renovated further as a private residence.

The main house boasts a relaxing 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, well appointed chef’s kitchen, and laundry with stunningly bright and airy bead board vaulted ceilings; while the guest house invites you to unwind in our charming 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living, and kitchenette coastal space.

Guests relaxing on the wrap around porches on the back half of the home will enjoy the cool shade offered by our island’s famous several centuries old oaks trees canopying across the property, draped in Spanish moss. It’s not uncommon to enjoy birdwatching from the porch thanks to a nearby lagoon and our island’s beautiful salt water marshes, including great blue herons and great snowy egrets. Conveniently located 10-15 minutes from everything on the south end through the north end, guests can easily enjoy the island has to offer.
