This is an extremely difficult article to write – to limit ourselves to just 10 of our favorite local spots near The Davis on St. Simons Island. Yet, here they are: a few of our favorite places we find ourselves recommending to our guests over and over again (and frequent ourselves, of course).

We were driving home from the Arizona mountains, talking about our plans to expand our business, when it dawned on us. This wasn’t an option, it was a calling.

I’ve always been intentional about naming things of importance in my life. I spend hours and hours pouring through names, their origins, and their meaning for my children, my pets, and yes even inanimate objects like cars and homes. But when it came time to name our property on St. Simons Island, GA, there were very few options that made my short list.
